This is a play from a book I have been working on the combines the pistol formation to many traditional 8man plays as well as some non-traditional type plays that the pistol gives you the opportunity to run. The 16 represents the option to the right and the DCG simply stands for "double crack Guard pull. This speed option type play works well against almost any defensive alignment and can be called pretty much anywhere on the field and in almost any game type situation.
