Zip Option Football
The Zip Option is one of the most dynamic football schemes ever developed. It is actually a double pass-run option play that starts with a lateral pass. This scheme attacks the perimeter of the defense and forces the defense to "choose their poison" by either trying to stop the run or the pass.
This type of attack to the flat area of the defense is so potent that adjustments have to be made. These adjustments open up the defensive formation to even more options and counters.

The Zip is a fantastic weapon that attacks the defense. It is not hard to learn or run and is usually added to current offenses seamlessly and using your own terminology.
