Spread Double Screen with play-action (Jet Sweep)
Renegade Motion 248 Double Screen listed on wrist band as (Ren mo dbl Scr) This play looks extremely complicated but the diagram is much more intimidating than the actual responsibilities on the play. This is a great counter to the Jet Sweep and the play-action off the Jet Sweep. After the fake from the QB the motion man is the main target of most defenses. However, when they see he does not have the ball and the QB is dropping the secondary and LBs will drop as well (unless they are in a blitz). The motion man tends to get lost in his blocking scheme plus we are going to read backside first so this takes the QB's attention off the motion man temporarily. Here are our rules for this play.
This play and many more are diagrammed and detailed in the new book X-Treme Schemes III The new book should be completed by February. If you have any questions email me voc@lvcisp.com
